Water Resources Foundation of Ohio
All members of the Executive Board of WMAO also serve on the Executive Board of the Water Resources Foundation of Ohio (WRFO). This organization was established by WMAO as an educational foundation and has been designated as a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt, charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service. The President, Executive Vice-President, and the Secretary of WMAO serve similar offices in WRFO, but the treasurer of WRFO is elected from the other board members of WMAO.
WMAO Scholarship
The Water Management Association of Ohio (WMAO) is pleased to provide a scholarship available to all WMAO members or their relatives.
The successful applicant must be an Ohio resident planning to attend an Ohio
college or university on an full-time basis, and pursuing a degree in a water-resources
related field. Students will be evaluated on:
Academic achievement and potential.
Financial need.
Character.
Extracurricular activities and community service.
A commitment to their academic program.
